Inside the bottles is a sterile mix of nutrients the plants use to keep growing. Because the plants are prepared in a sterile environment, they can grow for years without water or any extra care! Just place them on a windowsill, desk, or bookshelf and watch your plants grow!

The plants grow best in indirect sunlight. As long as they aren't getting full sun for multiple hours they will tolerate a lot of different conditions. 

We have some plant bottles that have continued to grow and thrive for over 2 years! The larger the bottle, the more gel the plants have to continue growing.
